Hey, everyone! It's crazy how fast time has gone by already and I'm learning so much with the Tampa Bay Lightning. I wanted to reflect on the past month or so by pivoting to last weekend.
As pictured above, I completed our company Bolt Run, which was done in partnership with the Special Olympics in a philanthropic effort with the Lightning Foundation. When I accepted my job in August, I set out a goal to run in the 5k of the Bolt Run on November 2nd.
I trained for a few months ahead of it with a goal of running it at a sub-30 pace. I finished the race in 27:54 at an 8:59 mile pace! I don't enjoy distance running as a sport, but I'm glad I sought for a challenge and accomplished an uncomfortable goal. The more we continue to challenge ourselves in new situations the more we can grow. I will say I will definitely train for more runs in the future to continue improving my time.
As far as my job is concerned, the games are flying by! I've got plenty of sample work on deck, so stay tuned for that to be posted in the coming weeks. For now, feel free to surf through some of my past work on the demos tab. Thanks for supporting my website and my journey!
