March has been a busy month, as you can tell by my writing of this on the 30th of said month! With the whirlwind of games came a lot of great work experiences as well. Pictured above is the celebration of Lightning defenseman Ryan McDonagh's 1000th NHL game. He's been a game-changing figure for the team and his presence has been felt within the organization. With moments like these, I've learned to meet the moment with broadcast content. Let a story come to you and let a moment breathe on its own.
Back tracking a bit, I also wanted to highlight some of my recent broadcast work. I filled in for the Orlando Solar Bears in the ECHL for a game call on March 16th! Their broadcaster was under the weather, so I stepped in on short notice for a great experience. With that, I have wrapped up my ECHL slate and have recently posted a play-by-play sample online.
